My father founded the brewery in 2000. I was only a senior in high school. That was a start of a 17 year learning experience where I saw how not branding your company correctly and not keeping up with industry trends can run a once successful business into the ground.

This was my own side business that I worked on for years, usually all on my own. I consider this an entrepreneurial success because in that time I built up a customer base who purchased my products time and time again because it became a tradition to have it for their yearly parties and events.

I am a 4th generation Iceman. This is the business into which I was born and bred. I always did anything that was asked of me because that is what you do in a family business. I lived and breathed the ice business and along the journey, through the ups and downs, I imagined how a stale and commodity-driven industry can be reborn and disrupted.
